Energy is everywhere, it is in ourselves, in all matter, in all living forms. It is fundamental, essential, vital. We are all connected by this life energy and whatever action we take, it has an impact on the world around us.
That’s why we chose to not only take from our Nature, but to give back as well.
Trees clean the air we breathe, absorbing harmful pollutants and releasing clean oxygen, they filter the water we drink, they provide habitat to hundreds of species of animals and plants protecting biodiversity, they provide jobs for over a billion people, they absorb carbon from the atmosphere, and the list goes on.
In spite of the fundamental importance of trees, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization, seven million hectares of forest are lost annually due to deforestation.
The consequences of deforestation are immense: the loss of trees and vegetation causes climate change, desertification, flooding, increased greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, loss of habitat, and destruction of homelands for indigenous communities who depend on the forest to sustain their way of life.
The trees are planted in multiple endangered territories all around the world from North America, to Africa, Asia, and Latin America, without forgetting Europe and Australia.
Eco-conscious practices are the only way we have to reverse the destructive trajectory of deforestation and we want to set an example for other businesses: a sustainable e-commerce is not only achievable, but also a reality, made possible by our generous customers, by giving souls like you.
